I'm here!

Bonjour! I have arrived safely in Benin. I stayed overnight in a Catholic charity lodging center with Dr Osse and his wife. We drove all day today to N'Dali where I will be staying for the next 2 months. It took us about 7 hours as their is only one highway that goes north and there are tons of huge pot holes along the way. I am really loving Benin despite the extreme heat and humidity! I was expecting desert and it is definitely more like a jungle here! I have a nice room in N'Dali, I am staying at another Catholic lodging place and I have my own room, bathroom and air conditioning! Tomorrow I will be visiting a hospital with Dr Osse and then returning later in the afternoon to work at the clinic. I am very happy to be here and I know I will learn a ton.
